Terms of Use
These terms apply when you use AmuseMind at amusemind.com. By using the site you agree to them. If you’re under 18, please read them with a parent or guardian, who agrees to them for you.
Using AmuseMind
- The first 3 Beginner challenges of every puzzle are free to play, with no account. Everything else needs Family Pro. During early access, every level is open to try.
- Please use AmuseMind for personal, family or classroom learning. Don’t copy, resell or scrape the puzzles, try to break or overload the site or the hint coach, or use automated tools to access them.
- We may change, add or remove puzzles and features, and may suspend access that breaks these terms.
Parent accounts
- Only adults can create an account. You’re responsible for keeping your sign-in safe and for the child profiles you add.
- You can delete your account and all its data at any time. See our Privacy Policy.
Family Pro subscriptions
- Family Pro covers one parent account and up to 2 children. It adds the hint coach, solutions, saved progress, progress notes and learning cards. Prices are shown on the Pricing page in your currency, including any taxes we’re required to charge.
- Billing: monthly or yearly, paid in advance through Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel.
- Cancel any time from the parent area. You keep Family Pro until the end of the period you’ve paid for; we don’t charge again after that.
- Refunds: if you’re not happy within 14 days of your first payment, write to us for a full refund. After that, payments aren’t refundable except where the law says otherwise.
- If we change the price, we’ll email you at least 30 days before it applies to your next renewal, and you can cancel before then.
- Hints may be limited per child per day to keep the service fair and affordable.
Schools
Schools and districts are covered by a separate written agreement, which takes priority over these terms where they differ.
The hint coach
Hints are worded by an AI model from the puzzle’s board position and checked against our own puzzle solver. They’re meant to guide thinking, not to be perfect; occasionally a hint may be unhelpful. Hints are for puzzle play only and are not professional or educational advice.
Our content
The puzzles, artwork, text and software are owned by Arthiq Tech Pte. Ltd. or our licensors and protected by copyright. Classic puzzles such as Sudoku, Tangram and Tower of Hanoi are traditional; our versions, levels and designs are our own.
Our responsibility
- We work hard to keep AmuseMind available and correct, but it’s provided “as is”, and we can’t promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free.
- To the extent the law allows, we’re not liable for indirect or unforeseeable losses, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that can’t be excluded.
Changes and law
We may update these terms; we’ll change the date above and email Family Pro parents about important changes. These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without affecting consumer protection rights in the country where you live.
